Stop Trying to be God

Stop trying to be God! Think about it. Anytime we do not acknowledge God, and ask Him what He wants us to do with our lives, we are trying to takeover the role of God. God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for sinners (us). Therefore, He purchased us, and the cost was the life of His Son.

“For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your
spirit, which are God’s.” – 1 Corintians 6:20

“You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.” – 1 Corinthians 7:23

We do not belong to ourselves, we belong to God and we are to love Him with all our strength (after all, this is God’s greatest command), and love our neighbors as we love ourselves. The biblical truth is truly mind blowing, if you keep these 2, you will have exceeded the 10 commandments! So, Christians, it’s time to be Holy, and stop “appearing” to be Holy. Don’t worry about how your life looks when everybody is watching, worry about what it looks like when you are alone, and no one is watching. Give your life back to God…
